  1. Day 31
    Poetic Thought

    “My Offering”

This is my offering unto you
My gift I’m passing along to help get you through
I hope my words help you..you..and you too
God gave me this gift and I shall share it with you
    Creatively designed
    Perfectly flawed
I’ll continue to write these poems
Traveling on this purpose train, welcome aboard
    I’m never bored
    I’m restored
Each and every time I open my mouth
Gods grace and spirit pours out
    That’s what I’m about
    Loving me
    Living free
No regrets of how God made me
    He saved me
    He changed me
He put in so much time
    To give me a rhyme
    A mountain to climb
I am his and he is mine
    I understand my shape
    Oddly and unique
    This is my offering
    My words to speak

  2. I just want to share this chapter with the world! Very powerful and profound. When he talked about your painful experiences and how God never wastes a hurt… that hit home. It touched me. I need to learn how to accept myself for who I am because God made me. Talking to my depression like look… we got things to do and and only I can do it. So I have to be here because there’s no one else like me.

  3. God design us so that there would be no duplication in the world. We cannot mimic another person’s ministry because we don’t have their personality. Our abilities were not given to us to make a living. God gave them to us for ministry. If we don’t make our unique contribution to the Body of Christ it won’t be made.

  4. I definitely relate to the part about experiences and how God can use them To shape us for His Service. I remember being aware of how much more empathetic I was to parents who had a child with a cold or stomach ache or something like that after I had children. Just being a parent myself I noticed I was able to encourage the parent more or even share my personal experiences as a mother.
Even losing a parent definitely on multiple occasions has helped me with patients who were grieving the same loss or preparing themselves to go through the transition of a parent after having along illness. God uses these painful experiences to help us to help others. There’s a purpose in the pain.
