Day 32
Poetic Thought
“Gods Gift”
God gifted me a gift
I will present it to you
Remember to serve the Lord
In all that you do
I will cherish my gift
I’ll use it for good
Comparisons aren’t warranted
My gift will perfectly do as it should
I may not be the best singer
But I will still sing my song
I may not be the fastest runner
But God will push me along
I may not be the best poet
But God gave me words to go free
I may not be the best teacher
But people will still learn from me
God gifted us a gift
Let’s all cherish it
Our gifts our presents
Let us not ever forget
God gave all of us gifts, but some of us never even bother to open the package. Our talents, abilities, personality are given to us for eternal purposes and God wants us to use these unique gifts as a light into this dark world we live in. I love to bake, but I never realized that was God’s gift to me until later on in my life. I put my all into what I do because I have to give my best. I love to hear my customers tell me that’s the best cake, cookie etc. they ever ate. I know I get paid for my products but my greatest joy is in hearing how great they taste. I don’t take the credit, I give it all to God and thank Him everyday for this unique gift He gave me.
I like what he said that only in hindsight do we understand how God intended a problem for good. As they say hindsight is 20/20. So many time when we are going through something and are oblivious to the good that will come out of it. I can think back to many problems or issues that I’ve had to deal with but at the end of the day I was able to see the intended good.
