  1. One part of today’s chapter that stood out to me was when Rick Warren said your character will take your into eternity…..not your career. Many times we would want to link our purpose to what we do for a living and that is not necessarily what God is concerned about. Our professions and careers are simply what we do but our purpose is who we are and defines our character which is everlasting.

  2. Day 40
    Poetic Thought

    “Live with purpose”

It’s better to live with purpose
    Than to live alone
Purpose fulfills your emptiness so you never have to be alone
God is waiting for your yes before he calls you home
Live a purpose driven life and be grateful for all that God has shown
When it’s time to talk with God
    What will you say?
What if he decides to ask “what did you do today?”
    What will be your response?
Will it be pleasing to his ears?
If you live a life of purpose you won’t ever have to worry or fear
So when you wake up tomorrow
And it’s a brand new blessed day
Remember who you are living for
And continue to honor Gods purpose along the way

  3. “Living with purpose.”
This charge for our lives is about learning, helping, worshiping, fellowship, loving and living.
This chapter is filled with wisdom and my greatest desire is to fulfill God’s purpose for my life. I will strive everyday to make God the center of my life and care about what He cares about.
