v4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

When you are slack in your work habits and ethics, you will lose money. But those that are diligent will become rich. They will increase in wealth. This principle is not contingent on skill set or profession, but diligence. Think about it, somebody became rich off of a rubber band. Something as small and seemingly insignificant as a rubber band caused great riches.

4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
The message is clear, the result of being “slack” is to become poor.  But, diligence maketh one rich.  Being diligent towards achieving your goal is of utmost importance to success .
