Day 23
Poetic Thought
“Growth”
Growth takes time and dedication
It’s more than choosing to go right, it’s changing your whole direction
God needs growth so you have to change your trajectory
Your path flows upstream and so should you spiritually
Take time to fix your mind
Change the way you think
We all need to grow
Not shy away and sink
Gods spirit is calling for you to do more
Give God your life
Give him your all
How we grow is simple
We excel and and not dwindle
We keep our eyes on God
And cherish our temples
Growth is a must
Spiritual maturity is vital
You are always a child of God
He just wants to upgrade your title
Yes, if we don’t grow it’s because our minds haven’t grown. It is a necessity. Upgrade our minds, upgrade our lives.
Change always starts with our mind. One of the most amazing gifts God has given us is our mind. The ability to think, learn and reason is the essence of what makes us humans. Our thoughts becomes a reflection of who we really are. Gods spirit works with us not just in us. Who you are on the inside and what you say on the outside, don’t always line up.
Romans 12: 2 “ Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Very critical to learn to take control of our thoughts. Reading this chapter when Rick Warren talks about changing the way we think caused me to remember what my pastor (Dr. A.R.Bernard) taught recently:
Thoughts lead to actions…actions lead to habits….habits lead to character…..which ultimate defines your destiny.
He also frequently tells us the quality of our thinking will determine the quality of our lives.
Interesting how God will bring a point home by making us hear it over and over from different sources.
