  1. Day 25
    Poetic Thought

    “I’ve got trouble”

    There’s trouble in my way
    And Lord I cry sometimes
    Trouble in my way
I just want to give up sometimes
    There’s so much trouble
At times I am fed up
During my troubles I almost gave up
Then I remembered you oh Lord
    And you don’t make mistakes
    My journey may be rocky
And I might feel like I need a break
God gives what you can handle
So just hold on for goodness sake
    Lessons are blessings
If you see it that way
    Over life you be stressing
Stop standing in your own way
    During times of trouble
God is right there with you
He’s making sure you understand that there’s a bigger meaning for what you are going through
So yea there may be trouble
Get through it so it can be out of your way
You’ll be drawn closer to God
And those trouble days will fade away

  2. “You will never know that God is all you need until God is all you’ve got.”

    Excerpt From
    The Purpose Driven Life
    Rick Warren

When I read this part my heart was feel with warmth. It was so deep and profound. I never knew how much I needed God until I found myself alone with no one to turn to. This really touched me. To answer the question at the end… my stay in prison definitely makes me feel like some of the people in the Bible and now I don’t blame God.. I thank him for choosing me. That stay made me grow in ways I never imagined.

    1. Yes, a powerful statement in itself. When our own resources are diminished, our own strategies come to an end, and we see no way out… then God comes through – All The Time!

  3. Sometimes difficult things happen to us so that the glory and power of God can be revealed in and through us. He uses difficult times to purify us so we will learn to live for Him and not ourselves. Many times we are caught in the enemy’s work but our comfort is in knowing that as we praise God in the midst of it He will defeat the enemy. Lord help me to remember that no matter how dark my situation may become You are the Light of my life and can never be put out.

    1. Praise Him even in the midst of trouble. Don’t focus on the trouble or problem, but embrace the solution Our Father offers through His Word.

  4. Embracing trouble……this is a hard pill to swallow. Even Jesus had a moment of weakness at the cross when he pleaded with God to remove Him from that horrendous ordeal but even He had to change the lens through which He saw the challenge. He saw the purpose that would come out of His pain. We should strive to endure each challenge and come out of each one closer to God than before. See each one as an opportunity to grow closer to Him.
