Day 29 – Accepting Your Assignment

  1. Day 29
    Poetic Thought

    “Your Assignment”

See God called me to be something I couldn’t even believe
I was formed to help others and talk about God through ministry
Whenever I think my life is a mistake
I wait and think about how God keeps me awake
There’s no race to replace who I truly am
For the assignment I was given will keep me where I stand
I wake up each day with a new set of plans
God told me what is needed and now I know who I am
See God called me to be something I couldn’t even believe
He rescued and saved me through my own ministry

“Your assignment may change through the climate; God will lead you to the waters but it’s up to you to find it”

  2. True service is being able to meet people where they are at, rather than make them meet us in the situations that we are comfortable with. A saved heart is one that wants to serve. At the end of our lives God is going to evaluate how well we served others. We have to give a personal account to God. So if we are using the abilities God gave us to serve others then guess what we’re fulfilling our ministry.

  3. We are all “ministers” even though we may not be ordained clergy or pastors or reverends or bishops. The mere fact that we call ourself Christians mean we are called to serve others in some way. Everyday of our lives are filled with opportunities to serve others.
