Day 35
Poetic Thought
“Power in Weakness”
I use to feel like I lacked the strength needed to serve God fully
Until I learned I was just making excuses to not praise God fully
I realized all power doesn’t come from a place that speaks strength
A person could win a marathon walking with a limp
Because true power comes from those places God chose to use
And so up against the fastest runners you don’t have to lose
See you were crowned the winner because you showed up against the odds
There’s power in your weakness thanks to God
Don’t feel ashamed for the things you lack
God will transform anything, he can make beauty out of scraps
So show up anyway
With what you have
For your weaknesses are filled with Gods power
Built to last
Many times others will be more receptive to what you share when you are transparent and are open about your weaknesses. I can see how the author states our most effective ministry will come out of our deepest hurts.
