Day 5
Poetic thought
Gods View
How do you see your life?
Will it be worth the read?
Metaphorically your actions speak for who you are
So tell me, what will those words mean?
What will they be?
What will God see?
Eyes view verses Gods view
Tells a different story
Life is a test
He gives the hardest lessons to the best
A butterfly ready to blossom
Colors that stand out from the rest
God tested Hezekiah
And see he was a King
No matter how high up you sit
Your voice is a whisper to Gods reign
Everything here is borrowed
We don’t own a thing
Seeing Life from Gods view
Is how a purpose driven life can begin
Gods View
Love the poetic thought for the day. Thank you so much for sharing. You hit us with even more questions but it’s all good . You are definitely helping us to consider these daily lessons even that much more. How does God view my life? Definitely want to be pleasing to Him and we are learning just that by going through this book with you all.
Awesome chapter……packed with so much to digest! Don’t want to over analyze everything but even the commitment to this 40 days of reading this book is a test. The discipline that it takes to read a chapter daily, absorb the information, post a comment, and actually apply the lessons in my life is actually a test.
Like Samuel, I am also privilege to be a “steward” both literally and figuratively. I at times can get overwhelmed at work with the burdens and issues of patients that are not always medical issues. I have to constantly remind myself that God put me in this field of work for a purpose. I have been already equipped for the daily “tests” by the Holy Spirit to represent Him in what He has entrusted me. This chapter is helping me keep it all in perspective.
Yes, it’s all a test and a trust. Who or what is our priority in life? It’s easy for the average Christian to say “God” but then does their life really reflect that. Not by what we may say, but moreso what we do, determines if we pass the Test or are found to be Trust-worthy.
