A smiling Father in heaven. When He looks at our lives, and what we are doing, what can we do to make Him smile. I enjoyed the lesson from Noah’s life and how his pleasure to God really saved mankind. He loved Him, Trusted Him, Obeyed Him even in the midst of so much uncertainty… A flood! – Noah didn’t even know what that was as they had never even experienced rain before. Nevertheless he trusted and obeyed Him. Similar to today’s question, but where can we see in our lives that we need to really, really trust Him more, even though we may not understand it all? It’s not easy but when we don’t understand it, it’s comforting to know He knows way better than us anyway so we might as well trust Him.
Day 9
Poetic Thought
“Gods Smile”
All I want to do in this life is make God smile
I want him to smile everyday,
Even if it’s just for a little while
God deserves the pleasure and happiness
To see my obedience
For he so loved the world,
He gave his only begotten son for my deliverance
I’m Gods child
So God smiles
Blessings are piled
For miles and miles
I trust God completely
I love God supremely
I will obey God wholeheartedly
I will praise and thank him continuously
You have the power to change
Something today
Make God happy,
So he can smile a way
I know he wants my love
I know he wants me to know him
I know I can do better
So it’s time that I start to show him
What makes God smile?
The question has been asked
I will love the Lord with all my heart and soul
And nothing will come in between that
God makes me smile every single day that’s true
So I wrote this poem in hopes that he can smile
Because my father God certainly deserves to
Your Poetic Thoughts bring a smile to my face as well. Thank you. God’s smile is what is really important. When He does, it shines on us and brightens our entire lives.
